Your True Will Certificate

After uploading the scanned copy of your adeus Will to True Wills, our technology creates a permanent digital record of it. The details of this record are contained in your 'adeus True Will Certificate'. This process can take up to 15 minutes once you have uploaded your will, we will send you an email confirming when your True Will Certificate is ready to view.

Accessing your True Will Certificate:

Click the Certificate icon to the right of the True Will record

The True Will Certificate will open for you to view, or download.

Your Options

Once you have opened your True Will Certificate you can:

1. Download PDF Certificate: so you can store a copy on your personal computer or print to include in your files.
2. Scan the QR Code: simply use your camera in your mobile phone to scan the QR code, this will open the detailed record on the blockchain. This isn't required, but for those of you interested in the technlogy behind True Wills it's cool to explore.
3. Verify Will: click the button to check the validity of your scanned will through True Will Technology,

Verify a Will

The key benefits of adeus True Wills is that it's not just a way to securely store a digital fingerprint of your signed will, it can also be used to check the authenticity - sometimes called 'provenance' - of a signed will. This ensures that the will in adeus, is identical to the original paper will, or any copies.

To verify the authenticity of the will simply click 'Verify Will' on the True Will Certificate and follow the simple instructions. Upload the scanned copy of the will, and we will check it against the digital record.

• If it matches, you'll get the green light as it is an identical copy. Nothing has changed.
• If it doesn't match, we'll let you know. You can try again, or if there is an issue you'll know that the will you uploaded is not the same as the one stored in adeus True Wills. You can contact us at hello@adeus.life to discuss and we can support any further investigation needed.

Adding your Will to True Wills is a step in your My Legacy Plan. Signing your Will and storing it with True Wills completes this step and moves your Legacy Plan progress forward.
