Wills: printing your will

Under the ‘WIlls Act of 1837’, you are legally required to print your will. It must also be stored and presented undamaged to be considered legally valid for probate in England & Wales.

Currently in England & Wales, to be legally valid your Will needs to be printed on paper, and signed using a pen (wet signature), by you and two witnesses.

Just follow these simple steps to Print your Will, then refer to our detailed Signing, Scanning & Storing pages for next steps.

  1. Log in to adeus; you can view, download and upload your will from the Home Page
  2. Click View your Will to ensure it is correct and reflects your wishes.
