Why do you offer a subscription plan?

Historically, writing a Will is something people do once, then store it in a drawer or filing cabinet and forget about it. Job done.

But this causes problems as a Will you wrote a few years ago may no longer be valid if your circumstances changed, or may not reflect your wishes, or the needs of your loved ones.

Legacy Planning is not a one time activity

Our lives are complex and are constantly changing. We want to encourage people to look at legacy planning as something we do as part of financial wellness, it's not a transaction (something we do every few years), it's something we keep on top of on a regular basis. That's why adeus has a low subscription fee, rather than being a higher one time fee.

  • We want you to think of your Will as a living document, something you can update whenever your need, or want.
  • We want to help you to keep track of all your important information, documents and files; making them easy to access for your loved ones when they are needed.
  • We want to make it easy for your executor and key contacts to manage things in your absence, so we have created an Executor Toolkit to support them. This includes access to your adeus Will, your Digital Vault, and guidance and introductions to relevant professionals and services. All available to active Premium Digital Vault or Legacy customers.

Why do we think this way?

We've seen the problems that having an invalid Will causes, we've heard of the challenges people face trying to locate important documents and information, and most tragically we've seen the impact on loved ones when no one really knows the wishes of others. These issues create undue stress, significant bureaucracy and paperwork, potentially expensive legal bills, and in extreme cases break families apart. You can't solve all of these challenges, but using the legacy planning tools in adeus, you can ensure that your loved ones know your wishes, and help them when they need it most, when you're not there to help and guide them.
