Wills: guidance on children in wills

As with a partner, children are in many cases key beneficiaries in a will.

For legal purposes. a child includes your biological children, adopted children, and step-children of your legal partner. Legally any biological children that have been adopted by someone else are excluded. For clarity, we recommend you name each of your children by name in your will.

If you have more than one child, simply click the Add another Child button on the right to add more children.

If there are any children you have excluded from your will, we recommend you outline your reasons in the last question in the will flow that asks if you have excluded anyone. This will remove or reduce any ambiguity.
