The following is a transcript of the voice guidance in the adeus Digital Will generator.
For legal purposes, a child includes your biological children, adopted children, and step children of your legal partner.
In this section, do not include biological children that have been adopted by someone else. You can still include them as a beneficiary in your will using the Other section. To ensure your will is legally valid and to make it easier for inheritance tax purposes, it's best to stick to the legal definitions of a child as we've detailed here.
