Your Executors

The following is a transcript of the voice guidance in the adeus Digital Will generator.

Your executor is the person or organisation that will distribute your estate and carry out the wishes you have recorded in your Will.

It's a very important role, and there are some legal obligations on the executor, so we recommend you think carefully about who the best person would be, particularly given it's an emotionally stressful time when someone passes away.

An executor can be a person you trust, or a professional or organisation. If you have a partner, many people choose their partner as the primary executor. However, this is entirely your decision.

It is always a good idea to have more than one executor in case something happens to one of the executors.
